The handmade ceramic fruit bowl is lead free and hence useable for storing food ware. The bowl measures 25 cm in diameter, is 9 cm in height and weighs approximately 1250 gr. The bottom is signed and numbered by the ceramic artisan.

This lovely and charming ceramic bowl, with floral decorations in colors of red, blue, and turquoise – on a white background, conveys an aura of history, tradition, aesthetic creativity and an atmosphere of the vibrant, diverse and colorful Orient.

Ottoman era

Thus, the Istanu bowl is made with inspiration from the Ottoman era, where design and production of colorful and intricate ceramic art was at the highest.
