Cotton satin & Oxford pillows

Cotton satin is not a special kind of fabric, but merely refers to the way the cotton is weaved. Thus, cotton satin is made from 100 % tightly woven cotton, making the fabric both more durable, breathable and absorbent. At the same time, the satin weaving technique gives the textile a subtle sheen and a lovely soft and smooth feel. Unlike conventional cotton, GOTS certified organic cotton has not been treated with special shrink resistant chemistry. As cotton can shrink at high temperatures, it is recommended that you use lower temperatures for both washing and drying. The bedlinen can be washed at 40 degrees with a short spin and tumbled dried at a low temperature. Bleach should be avoided.  Note: In many countries they use cold water detergents for lower washing temperatures, thereby also benefitting the environment.
